Cal. 30 Carb. S# 4027297. 18" bbl marked behind front sight "UNDERWOOD / 7-43 / flaming bomb". Milled PI adjustable aperture rear sight. Blade front sight with protective ears. MMO bbl band with bayonet lug. Straight cut slide marked ".U.". Flat bolt is marked "36S" on right locking lug. Fabricated trigger housing marked "BE-B". Rotary safety. Straight cut hammer. Walnut potbelly stock. Stock is marked with two encircled "P" proofs. 4 rivet LW handguard. Green web sling. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: green web 2-pocket mag pouch. Markings on pouch are faded and not legible. MAGS: 2 15-rd GI parkerized. CONDITION: stock set has well worn arsenal rework type finish with numerous handling marks. Metal retains 50% of its worn thinning original parkerized finish. Good shiny bore. PROVENANCE: Military Museum Collection of Shooters Outpost, Hooksett NH. (26-2279/RW). CURIO. $1,500-2,500.
